American Crow

Corvus brachyrhynchos

These birds roost together in trees at night, sometimes numbering in the hundreds of thousands. The raucous calling can be formidable. When seen side by side with a Fish Crow, the American Crow is slightly bigger, but this can be tricky to spot in a crowded flock.
