Yellow-rumped Warbler

Setophaga coronata Sep–May

This bird not only has a yellow rump, but yellow on the top of its head and on the sides. Males are generally gray with a black mask and chest, while the females are lighter in color and a brownish gray. They have a wide diet that includes insects and berries, which gives them more leeway to winter further north compared to other warblers.
